MARTINDALE HUBBELL BV RATING

Mr. Mednick has received a BV Distinguished Rating from Martindale Hubbell. The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings are an objective indicator of a lawyer’s high ethical standards and professional ability, generated from evaluations of lawyers by other members of the bar and the judiciary in the United States and Canada. The Rating is based upon the following:

• Legal Knowledge – Lawyer’s familiarity with the laws governing his/her specific area of practice(s)
• Analytical Capabilities – Lawyer’s creativity in analyzing legal issues and applying technical knowledge
• Judgment – Lawyer’s demonstration of the salient factors that drive the outcome of a given case or issue.
• Communication Ability – Lawyer’s capability to communicate persuasively and credibly
• Legal Experience – Lawyer’s degree of experience in his/her specific area of practice(s)

SUPER LAWYERS RISING STARS

Mr. Mednick received the High Honor in being named one of 2014 Rising Stars and recently mentioned by the New York Times. No more than 2.5 percent of the Lawyers in New York received this Award and Mr. Mednick was one of those selected. Superlawyers was recently granted a U.S. patent relating to lawyer-ratings. Super Lawyers selects attorneys using a patented multiphase selection process. Peer nominations and evaluations are combined with third party research. Each candidate is evaluated on 12 indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement. Selections are made on an annual, state-by-state basis.

AVVO RATING OF 10.0

Avvo provides an opportunity for the general public to contact attorneys easily by providing a search engine that matches an attorney in a particular field with the location of the client. Attorneys are also given ratings based upon their recognition in their field of practice. There are many factors that go into an attorneys rating such as years of practice, client reviews, awards and recognitions, etc… Mr. Mednick has received a Superb rating of 10.0 and is recognized by Avvo for his achievements. Mr. Mednick has also received an award for Client’s choice 2014 in divorce based upon the top reviews he received from his clients. Mr. Mednick is also an active contributor to the Avvo website itself by answering questions for those in need.

LEAD COUNSEL RATING

Mr. Mednick has received the honor of being awarded as a Lead Counsel. An attorney can be dominated for such an award provided they have professional experience in their field, a spotless record, and recommendations from their peers. Mr. Mednick certainly met those criteria and justifiably received the award.

NATIONAL ACADEMY OF FAMILY LAW ATTORNEYS

Mr. Mednick has received a significant award in being named one of the Top 10 attorneys in New York in Family Law under 40. The very few attorneys (less than 1%) that are good enough to make the list have demonstrated an extraordinary amount of knowledge, skill, experience, expertise and success in their practice of family law. In order to receive this award you must be nominated by a licensed practicing attorney. You also must be in good standing with the bar and practicing for over 5 years.

NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF DISTINGUISHED COUNSEL

Mr. Mednick has most recently been nominated to the National Association of Distinguished Counsel which represents the top 1% of Lawyers in the Country. In order to become a member of this Counsel you must first be nominated. After you are nominated you are put through a multi level review process. The final review is done by a judicial review board, led by a group of former judges, weighs in on the final candidates. The purpose of this phase is to ensure that those who are named “Nation’s Top Attorneys” have epitomized the ideals of the legal profession. They finalize the process of selecting the attorneys whose stellar reputation and exceptional performance exemplify only the highest standards. Those invited as members of the NADC must exhibit qualities becoming of an Officer of the Court, and have also demonstrated admirable character and virtue in the course of their practice of law.

AMERICAN ACADEMY OF TRIAL ATTORNEYS

Mr. Mednick has most recently received a membership into the American Academy of Trial Lawyers. Based upon his professionalism and excellence as a Trial Attorney Mr. Mednick has earned the designation as a Premier 100 trial attorney. In order to become a member a Premier 100 Trial Attorney has to satisfy stringent criteria and standards as established by the AATA Board of Directors.

Membership into the Premier 100 Criminal and Civil American Academy of Trial Attorneys is only available to the Premier 100 criminal defense and plaintiff’s civil attorneys in each state. In areas of the country with a higher concentration of attorneys or lower concentration the number of available Premier 100 Trial Attorney listings is severely limited.

RUE RATINGS BEST ATTORNEYS OF AMERICA

Less than one percent (1%) of the lawyers in America have been invited to become members of Rue Ratings’ Best Attorneys of America and Mr. Mednick has been chosen to be one of the elite members of this class of attorneys. The attorneys who represent this class are those with an extraordinary level of legal expertise, competency, professional reputation and ethical standards.

LAWYERS OF DISTINCTION

Lawyers of Distinction members have been selected based upon a review and vetting process from our Selection Committee. After a thorough review of credentials, attorneys are nominated by our Selection Committee. Lawyers cannot pay for this nomination. These potential candidates who meet the criteria of our screening process have demonstrated a high degree of peer recognition and professional competence, placing them in the top 10% of all attorneys in the United States. Attorneys may nominate other peers they feel warrant recognition or self-nominate. These candidates undergo the same rigorous review process. Lawyers of Distinction shall not offer membership to more than 10% of attorneys in any given state. Lawyers of Distinction uses it own independent criteria, including both objective and subjective factors in determining if an attorney can be recognized as being within the top 10% of attorneys in the United States in their respective field.
